In their newly released single Aint No Stoppin’ Us Now, Yonex Jones and ItsYaBoyCarr travel to LA after just having their car tires slashed right after leaving KSJS for a radio interview. The song features samples from the original classic Aint No Stoppin’ Us Now.
In early August of this year, Carr was invited to the Shimo Media Cypher in Sacramento CA to showcase his talent. Alongside 5 other San Jose artists, Carr brought his style of east coast aggression a bass heavy Bay Area style beat.
Carr’s debut album in music, Carrtoon Network is a 12 track journey through the mind of a young upcoming artist finding his grip in the hyphy era music scene of the Bay Area. With seasoned experience in the east coast, Carr merges his lyric heavy boom bap style with his new west coast influence in a new sound of hip hop that breaks coastal barriers in a space that wages war over the two distinct sounds.
